Jardins de Saba

Jardins de Saba from the French house Reine de Saba, composed by Fanny Bal and released in 2024, is a green, dewy floral with a mossy base. Floral is the word everyone uses; about half also find it green, and a quarter gourmand, woody, fresh or citrusy.

Mandarin and aldehydes give the opening a bright, sparkling, slightly soapy lift, and red fruits add a soft, juicy sweetness. The heart is a garden rather than a single flower: lily of the valley brings a dewy, clean freshness, jasmine sambac and jasmine a warm, slightly indolic richness, and rose a soft, classic sweetness.
