Bergamot and mandarin open it with a bright, juicy citrus, sharpened by black pepper and pepper, which add a dry, lively heat. The heart is soft and floral: magnolia gives a lemony, creamy freshness, osmanthus an apricot-and-suede touch, and heliotrope a soft, almondy powder. The base is woody and warm, with sandalwood for creaminess, Indonesian patchouli for an earthy depth, vanilla for a gentle sweetness and musk for a soft, lasting finish.
