Divine Tentation is a warm, spiced gourmand built around rum, cinnamon and vanilla, released by the French house Reine de Saba in 2023 and composed by Mathieu Nardin. It is worn by anyone.

Cinnamon and clove open it with a warm, dry, bakery-like spice. Rum follows, boozy and dark, with fig adding a green, milky fruitiness that keeps the start from being purely sweet. The heart and base are rich: Madagascar vanilla and vanilla give a smooth, creamy sweetness, Peru balsam a vanilla-like resin, amber a golden warmth, guaiac wood a smoky, slightly sweet woodiness, and patchouli an earthy depth.

It suits autumn and winter and evening wear. Anyone who likes spiced rum-and-vanilla gourmands with woods and resins should find it a strong fit.
