Lemon Line by Mancera, composed by Pierre Montale and released in 2014, is a citrus floral worn by anyone. Everyone describes it as both floral and citrusy, and about half also find it musky, aromatic and amber-like.
Lemon and orange open it, bright and zesty, with lavender adding a clean, herbal, slightly soapy freshness that gives the top an aromatic, almost barbershop quality. The heart is where the floral side comes in: geranium brings a rosy, green sharpness and white flowers a creamy softness, while amber adds an early warmth that stops the scent from feeling thin or purely cologne-like. White musk closes it, clean and skin-like, carrying the citrus and flowers through a long, smooth dry-down.
Most wearers report long lasting or moderate longevity and a moderate trail, with a quarter finding it strong, which is unusual for a citrus. It is voted mainly for summer and spring and strongly for daytime. It suits someone who wants a fresh scent that actually lasts a working day.
