The notes are listed without stages. Bergamot and pink pepper provide a bright, lightly spiced lift, and fig leaf a green, milky, slightly bitter freshness. Jasmine gives the floral side, soft rather than heady. The bulk of the composition is in the base: cedar and vetiver for dry, faintly smoky wood, leather for a supple warmth, and a thick blanket of ambergris, tonka bean and vanilla with white musk, which together produce the warm, musky, slightly powdery ambery glow that defines it.
It is worn by anyone. The overall picture is a plush, warm skin-scent built on musk and amber, with woods and a little green and spice to give it shape rather than a fragrance that leads with any one note.
