SHK II

SHK II is a rich, sweet woody scent from Armaf, released in 2024 and marketed for women. Woody is how everyone describes it, most also call it gourmand, and about half find it floral or resinous, with leather and citrus mentioned by a quarter. It is a dense, layered composition in the Gulf style.

Bergamot and peach open it with a short burst of citrus and ripe, velvety fruit, and saffron adds its dry, leathery, faintly metallic spice. Rose and jasmine form the floral heart, the rose dark and jammy, the jasmine fuller and warmer, and caramel runs alongside them with a buttery, cooked-sugar sweetness. The base is where the depth comes from: agarwood for a dark, resinous wood, leather for a smooth, smoky richness, and benzoin, labdanum and vanilla for a thick, balsamic, sweet warmth, with patchouli and musk anchoring the finish.

It is a cold-weather, evening scent for women who like sweet, oud-based blends with plenty of presence.
