Club de Nuit Sillage, released by Armaf in 2020 and worn by anyone, is a bright citrus floral with a clean woody base. Floral and citrus are the words everyone uses; most also call it woody, and a third find it spicy, sweet or green.
The opening is sharp and zesty, lemon and lime with a tart blackcurrant and a warm prickle of ginger. The heart is a classic trio of rose, jasmine and iris, rosy and warm with a powdery, cool iris edge. The base is cedar and sandalwood with musk, dry woods over a clean, soft warmth.
It performs strongly for its style: most wearers find it long lasting and about half call the sillage strong, with most of the rest saying moderate. Spring and summer share the seasonal votes equally and it is largely worn by day. It suits warm weather and daytime occasions where you want freshness that can be noticed across a room rather than one that stays on the skin.
