Club de Nuit White Imperiale, Armaf's 2022 feminine, is a sweet, woody floral with real weight. Everyone who describes it uses sweet, woody and floral together, and about half add spicy, musky and citrusy.
Litchi opens it with a juicy, rosy, slightly perfumed fruitiness, bergamot adds a citrus lift and nutmeg a warm, dry spice. The heart is Turkish rose and peony, a rich, rosy floral, already wrapped in vanilla and musk so that the flowers feel creamy rather than fresh. The base is vanilla again with cedar, Cashmeran and incense: a soft, warm wood with a faint smoky, resinous edge that gives the sweetness some backbone.
Performance is strong: about half of wearers find it long lasting and more than a third near permanent, and the sillage is strong or enormous for most, so one or two sprays go a long way. Spring and winter lead the seasonal votes and it splits almost evenly between day and night. It suits anyone who likes a rosy gourmand with presence.
