Bergamot, ginger, nutmeg, cardamom and pink pepper open it with a warm, lively spice, set against sea water, sea notes and ozonic notes that bring a salty, airy freshness. Frankincense runs through the heart, dry and resinous, with labdanum adding a honeyed, leathery warmth. The base is woody and smoky: guaiac wood and Clearwood give a smooth, slightly sweet woodiness, birch a tarry smoke, vetiver a dry earthiness, patchouli depth, and amber a warm finish.
It suits spring and autumn and works for daytime or evening. Anyone who likes incense and spice with a sea breeze running through should find it rewarding.
