Blueforest is a minimal spicy woody musk built on three notes, released by the French house Perroy in 2024 and composed by Arnaud Poulain. It is worn by anyone.
The composition is deliberately spare. Pepper opens it with a dry, sharp heat that gives the scent its edge. Cedar follows with a clean, dry, pencil-shaving woodiness, the forest of the name rendered crisp rather than damp. Musk underpins both, giving a soft, skin-like warmth that smooths the pepper and carries the cedar for the long haul.
The effect is woody first, peppery second and musky throughout, and it suits autumn and spring and everyday wear, in an office or casually. Anyone who likes clean, understated woods with a peppery bite and no sweetness should find it an easy, comfortable choice.
