Ambre Supermassive is a dense, sweet gourmand with a strong spicy streak, the sort of scent built around rum, honey and tobacco rather than fresh air. Les EAUX Primordiales, a French house, released it in 2024; it was composed by Arnaud Poulain with Studio Flair, and it is worn by anyone.
Fruit sets the tone at the start, with peach, apple and pineapple giving a bright, almost cocktail-like opening, while cardamom, cinnamon and saffron add a warm, spiced edge. The middle turns richer: rum and honey bring a boozy, syrupy sweetness, rose and heliotrope add a soft, almondy floral layer, and sesame gives a nutty, toasted texture. Tobacco, amber, vanilla and musk form the base, warm and long-lasting in character, with the tobacco keeping the sweetness from running away.
This is a cold-weather, evening scent by nature, suited to autumn and winter and to anyone who enjoys boozy, spiced gourmands with real depth.
