Iberian Leather is a Memo Paris fragrance from 2022. Despite the name, floral is the word everyone uses for it; most also call it woody, about two thirds spicy, and a third ambery, with aromatic and citrus touches noticed by a minority.
The note list is long. It opens with bergamot and rosemary, a fresh, herbal start. The heart is a spiced bouquet: rose and iris among the flowers, with saffron and clove giving them a warm, slightly leathery heat. The base is where the leather finally appears, alongside agarwood, oakmoss and patchouli, a dark, earthy, smoky foundation softened by amber and vanilla.
Most people report long-lasting to near-permanent wear, and the projection is strong to enormous, so a single spray goes far. It is voted for winter and autumn and leans firmly towards the evening. Worn by anyone, it suits cold nights and people who want a spiced floral leather with serious projection rather than a quiet one.
