Aurora

Aurora by the British house Electimuss (2020) is a spicy woody fragrance according to everyone who rates it, with about two thirds also calling it musky. A third find it floral or ambered. It is an oud-and-rose composition with a soft, musky setting.

Cardamom and cloves give the opening a warm, aromatic spice, the cardamom bright and slightly citrusy, the cloves dry and medicinal. Saffron adds a leathery, faintly metallic heat. Rose forms the floral heart, and agarwood sits beneath it with a resinous, woody depth. Sandalwood smooths the oud with a creamy, sweet woodiness, patchouli adds an earthy edge, and ambergris brings a warm, salty glow.
