Persephone's Patchouli is, despite the name, a floral first: every wearer describes it as floral, three quarters add woody, about half gourmand, and a minority spicy or amber. Electimuss, a British house, released it in 2022 with perfumer Christian Provenzano, and it is worn by anyone.
Pomegranate and plum open it with a tart, slightly wine-like fruitiness, and cardamom adds a cool spice. The heart is Bulgarian rose and Egyptian jasmine, rich and honeyed, with actual honey deepening the sweetness. Patchouli then takes over, earthy and dark, and cedar and sandalwood give it a dry, smooth woody frame, while ambergris adds a salty, warm glow to the base.
