Slogan from the French house Courrèges, composed by Annick Menardo in 2021, is a minimalist musk. Everyone who describes it calls it musky, and about half also find it warm with amber.
The formula is deliberately stripped back. Juniper berries give the opening a cool, gin-like, faintly resinous freshness, the only real contrast in the composition. From there it is all about musk: white musk for a clean, laundered softness, musk for a warmer, skin-like depth, and ambroxan, which adds a dry, mineral, slightly salty warmth and gives the scent its lift and staying power.
It is worn by anyone and has the character of a second-skin fragrance, the kind that smells like clean, warm skin rather than perfume. That makes it a natural choice for everyday wear in any season, for the office, or for someone who finds most fragrances too busy.
