Solis

Solis by the British house Memoize London, released in 2022, is a woody rose with a boozy, spicy warmth. Everyone who describes it calls it floral; about three quarters also find it woody, and a minority notice spicy, amber or citrus sides.

Bergamot and juniper berries give a bright, slightly gin-like opening, and cardamom adds a cool, green spice. Rose, including a Moroccan rose note, fills the heart with a rich, slightly jammy sweetness, while geranium adds a green, rosy freshness and orris root a cool, powdery softness.
