Leen

Leen is a floral scent with spice, sweetness and musk in equal measure, made by the Canadian house Eau De Moe and released in 2022. Everyone who describes it calls it floral, and about half also find it spicy, gourmand, musky, amber-like or citrusy.

It opens with saffron and lemon, an unusual pairing in which the bright, sharp citrus cuts through the warm, leathery, slightly medicinal spice. The heart is jasmine and rose, rich and classic, with the jasmine adding a creamy headiness to the rose. The base is musk, vanilla and ambergris, which together give a soft, sweet, slightly salty warmth that sits close to the skin and lasts.
