Gulnaz

Gulnaz by Tola, released in 2022, is a spiced woody floral with a leathery, nutty warmth. Spicy, woody and floral impressions are shared by everyone who describes it, and about half also find it gourmand, amber-like or leathery.

Cardamom and saffron open with a warm, slightly dry spice, the saffron carrying its usual honeyed, leathery depth. Almond adds a soft, marzipan-like sweetness that gives the scent a gourmand side. Geranium and orris root form the floral heart, the geranium green and rosy, the orris cool and powdery. Agarwood and patchouli bring a dark, earthy wood to the base, with leather and amber adding warmth and a smooth, slightly animalic finish.
