Golden Star

Golden Star, a 2023 release from the Italian brand Gleam Perfume, was composed by Luca Gritti. It is dominated by woods, with spice, amber and leather giving it depth. It is shared and worn by anyone.

Saffron opens it with a warm, slightly metallic, honeyed spice that hints at leather from the start. Agarwood, or oud, then takes the lead, bringing a dark, smoky, resinous woodiness with a faintly medicinal edge that is the hallmark of Middle Eastern perfumery.
