Blondpurple

Blondpurple is a short, fruity composition from the French house Perroy, released in 2024 and created by Arnaud Poulain. Everyone who describes it calls it gourmand, and about half also call it floral, which matches a formula built on just three ideas.

Mango brings the sweetness: ripe, juicy and a little tropical, it is the note most people will notice first and the one that gives the scent its sugary, edible side. Black currant cuts through it with a tart, slightly green sharpness, so the fruit never feels syrupy, and ylang-ylang supplies the floral half of the picture with its creamy, banana-tinged warmth, rounding the fruit into something softer and more perfume-like.

Because the structure is so simple, what you smell at the start is largely what you get, with the fruit easing into the floral as it settles. It is worn by anyone and suits warm weather and casual daytime wear, particularly for those who like fruit-led scents that stay light.
