Pinkfire is a sweet, fruity amber from the French house Perroy, released in 2024, created by Arnaud Poulain and worn by anyone. Gourmand and amber are the two words everyone uses for it, in equal measure, which fits a scent made from just three notes.

Pomegranate and raspberry carry the opening and most of the heart. The pomegranate is tart, juicy and slightly wine-like, the raspberry sweeter and jammier, and together they give the scent a bright, red-fruit character that reads as candied rather than fresh. Amberwood is the only thing beneath them, a warm, dry, slightly musky wood with an ambery glow, and it does two jobs at once: it gives the fruit a base to sit on and provides the warmth that most people describe as amber. As the fruit fades, the amberwood is what remains, soft and radiant.

It is a simple, cheerful scent for casual wear, for anyone who likes sweet red fruit with a warm finish and does not need much complexity.
