Signature Wild

Signature Wild is a warm, spicy woody fragrance from the French house Art de Parfum, released in 2016 as a masculine scent. Woody is the near-universal description, about half also call it spicy and ambery, and a quarter find it gourmand, resinous or leathery.

Cinnamon and cardamom set a warm, slightly sweet spice tone at the start, with orange blossom adding a soft, honeyed floral touch and artemisia a bitter, herbal green edge. Dried fruits bring a dense, jammy sweetness. The base is where the depth lies: leather and sandalwood for smoothness, Haitian vetiver for a smoky, rooty woodiness, and labdanum, Peru balsam and amber for a rich, resinous, slightly vanilla-like warmth.

The character suggests autumn and winter and evening wear, and a wearer who enjoys warm, spiced woods with a leathery, balsamic drydown. It is a full-bodied scent rather than a light one, so it sits best in cooler air.
