Bitter Peach, released by Tom Ford in 2020 and worn by anyone, is a boozy fruit over a dense, sweet, resinous base. Everyone describes it as woody; three quarters also find it gourmand, half resinous, and a quarter spicy, musky or citrus.

The opening is peach, ripe and slightly bitter as the name promises, with blood orange adding a tart citrus, cardamom a cool spice and heliotrope a powdery, almond-like softness. The heart is where the drinks come in: rum and cognac bring a warm, sugary, alcoholic glow, davana a fruity, apricot-like boozy note and jasmine a creamy floral thread. The base is long and heavy, with vanilla, tonka bean and benzoin giving a thick sweetness, labdanum and styrax a resinous, leathery depth, and sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver a dry, earthy wood.

Most wearers find it long lasting or moderate, and the trail is moderate. It is voted for autumn and spring, with day ahead of night. It suits anyone who wants fruit treated as a liqueur rather than a juice.
