Pineapple, apple and redcurrant open it with a sweet, tart fruitiness, brightened by bergamot. The heart turns herbal and dark: thyme brings a dry, savoury green, patchouli an earthy depth, jasmine a soft floral, and birch a smoky, tar-like edge. The base of amber, incense, oud, cedar and musk is warm and resinous, with incense adding a cool smoke and oud a dark wood under the sweetness.
