Bergamot opens with a light, clean citrus brightness, quickly joined by black pepper and cardamom, which bring a dry, tingling warmth and a cool, aromatic edge. Rose and orange blossom form the floral centre: the rose smooth and velvety, the orange blossom bright and slightly honeyed, together softening the spice without making it sweet. The base brings cedar, leather and vanilla, where cedar keeps things dry and woody, leather adds a supple, darker texture and vanilla a quiet, rounded warmth. Altogether it reads as a modern spiced rose with a leathery-woody finish, comfortable for anyone who prefers a scent with some character but not too much weight, and versatile enough for both work and evenings out.
