The notes are listed together. Bergamot opens it with a brief, bright citrus. Black pepper, pepper and spicy notes bring a dry, tingling heat, and mineral notes add a cool, flinty, stony edge. Cypress and cedar give the heart a dry, resinous, slightly green wood. Leather sits underneath, smooth and dry rather than smoky, and labdanum and amber finish it with a warm, resinous, faintly sweet glow.
