Juniper and pink pepper give a dry, lively opening, with cinnamon and star anise adding a warm, sweet spice. Cacao pod and cocoa bring a dark, bitter-sweet chocolate note, and hazelnut a toasted, creamy nuttiness. Laotian oud and agarwood form the resinous woody core, cypress adds a green, slightly smoky dryness and guaiac wood a sweet, smoky wood. The base of tonka bean, labdanum, myrrh and vetiver is warm and deep, the tonka sweet, the labdanum and myrrh resinous, the vetiver dry and earthy.
It is a shared fragrance, worn by anyone. Oud with cocoa and spice is a cold-weather, evening scent, and it should appeal to people who like woods with a rich, edible warmth.
