The notes work as one blend. Grapefruit opens with a bright, slightly bitter citrus sparkle, quickly joined by pepper for a warm, dry spice. Vetiver is the core, giving a smoky, earthy and grassy woodiness, supported by cedar, which adds a clean, dry structure, and patchouli for depth. Peru balsam brings a warm, resinous sweetness that softens the woods.
Most wearers find it long lasting, and some call it very long lasting, with a moderate to strong trail. It is voted for spring and autumn and more for daytime, so it suits work, smart daytime occasions and transitional weather, for someone who likes strong, earthy vetiver scents with a spicy edge.
