The notes are listed as one group. Saffron and rose give the opening its character, saffron warm and faintly leathery, rose soft and rich. Agarwood brings the smoky, resinous oud note at the centre, and leather adds a smooth, dry depth. Patchouli and oakmoss give earth and a dry, forest-floor greenness, labdanum a sweet, resinous warmth. Vetiver, sandalwood and ambergris finish it with grassy earth, creamy wood and a salty, mineral glow.
