Bergamot and pink pepper give a brief, bright, lightly spiced start, with blackcurrant adding a tart, fruity edge. The heart is floral and powdery: rose, freesia, lily of the valley and iris together feel soft and slightly cosmetic. Then the gourmand side takes over, with almond and bitter almond bringing a marzipan-like sweetness, praline a nutty, caramelised richness and vanilla a smooth warmth. Patchouli and musk keep the base grounded and lasting.
It suits autumn and winter and evening wear in particular. Anyone who enjoys sweet almond-and-praline scents with a floral heart should find it appealing.
