Harmattan

Harmattan is a woody fragrance from the French house Ella K Parfums, composed by Sonia Constant in 2021, with floral, aromatic and leather facets in equal support.

Lavender brings a herbal, clean freshness, joined by geranium, which adds a rosy, slightly minty and green floral note. Together they give the composition its aromatic side. Cedar forms the dry, pencil-like woody core, and patchouli deepens it with an earthy, slightly sweet darkness. Leather completes the picture with a supple, faintly smoky texture that grows more noticeable as the scent dries down, giving it a warm, worn-in quality.

It is worn by anyone. The combination of lavender, woods and leather has a calm, dry character that suits autumn and spring, office days and evenings, and those who like leather softened by herbs rather than presented as harsh or animalic should find it well balanced.
