Cucumber and violet leaf open it with a cool, watery greenness that smells like a rain-washed garden. The heart is built on rose and rose de Mai, soft and slightly dewy rather than jammy, with orris root adding a cool, powdery elegance that recalls violets. Leather arrives gradually, dry and supple rather than smoky, while cedar and sandalwood give a smooth woody frame and patchouli an earthy, slightly damp depth underneath.
