DesirToxic L'Intense

DesirToxic L'Intense is a spicy, sweet and green fragrance from the French house M. Micallef, created by Thierry Romeo and released in 2024. Worn by anyone, it is described by everyone as spicy, and about two thirds also call it gourmand, green and citrusy, with a third picking out resinous and ambery sides. It is a scent of contrasts.

Lemon, bergamot and mint make the opening sharp and cool, with blackcurrant adding a tart, fruity note. Cinnamon, cardamom and saffron bring the warm, dry spice that defines the character, and a cannabis note adds a bitter, herbal greenness that is unusual and distinctive. Oakmoss and moss deepen that green side with a damp, earthy quality. Tonka bean and benzoin give a sweet, resinous, almost vanilla-like warmth, and patchouli, ambergris and musk settle the base into something rich and long-wearing.
