Peachy Peach

Peachy Peach is a juicy, boozy fruit scent from Ahmed Al Maghribi, released in 2024 and worn by anyone. Gourmand is how everyone describes it, and about half also find it green, woody or citrusy, which fits a short formula with a bright top and a warm, syrupy base.

Peach is the opening and the point of the scent, ripe, velvety and sweet, and it is sharpened by blood orange, juicier and slightly more bitter than ordinary orange, and freshened by green leaves, which add a crisp, sappy, slightly bitter edge that stops the fruit from being cloying. Patchouli is the only heart note, dark, earthy and slightly damp, and it gives the peach a grown-up, woody frame. The base is honey and cognac, the honey sticky, floral and faintly waxy, the cognac warm, sweet and clearly alcoholic, so the drydown smells like peaches steeped in brandy.
