Kaaf Noir

Kaaf Noir, released by Ahmed Al Maghribi in 2026, is a woody citrus with a clean musky base. Everyone who describes it says woody and citrusy; about two thirds add musky, and a third find it spicy, green or ambery.

The long ingredient list is not split into stages, but it is easy to follow. Sicilian lemon and blood orange open bright and juicy, with juniper berries adding a gin-like, piney crispness and cardamom a cool spice. Lavender, clary sage and geranium bring an aromatic, herbal middle, and hedione gives it a transparent, airy floral glow. The base is modern and smooth: cedar and vetiver for dry wood, patchouli for depth, white musk and ambroxan for a clean, salty, long-reaching warmth, and Iso E Super for a soft, velvety woodiness.
