Poivre Noir

Black pepper and pepper lead, a dry, sharp, slightly woody heat that is the whole point of the scent. Nutmeg adds a warmer, rounder spice beside it, with a faintly sweet, powdery edge. Cedar provides the base, a dry, clean, pencil-shaving wood that gives the pepper something to rest on and keeps the drydown tidy. There is no citrus, fruit or vanilla to soften it; the scent stays dry from start to finish.
