Verdant Delirivm by Santi Burgas, composed by perfumer Santi Burgas in 2022 and worn by anyone, is a sweet citrus floral with a herb garden running through it. Everyone who describes it finds it gourmand, floral and citrusy at once, about two-thirds also say woody, and a third aromatic.
Yuzu and Calabrian bergamot give a sharp, fragrant citrus opening, and mint with oregano adds a cool, savoury herbal edge that is unusual next to so much sweetness. Bulgarian rose and jasmine form a classic floral heart. Vanilla appears in three forms, bourbon, Madagascar and plain, which makes it the dominant sweet thread, creamy and warm. Haitian vetiver is the only wood listed, dry and rooty, and it grounds the vanilla so the drydown stays green rather than syrupy.
Longevity and sillage have not yet been reported. The citrus and herbs make it workable in warm weather, while the vanilla base suits evenings in any season.
