The note list is short and given without stages: agarwood, rose, vanilla, musk and grey musk. The effect is simpler than most Montale ouds. Musk does the heavy lifting, clean and cottony with a slightly powdery quality, and the agarwood sits inside it as a smooth, resinous warmth rather than a sharp or medicinal wood.
