Lemon and mandarin orange give a sharp, sunny opening, which papaya and pineapple soften into something juicier and sweeter, the source of the gourmand impression. Green notes keep it from turning syrupy. In the heart, cardamom and nutmeg bring a warm, dry spice, and violet adds a powdery, slightly cool floral tone. Cedar and oakmoss finish it with a dry, earthy wood that gives the fruit something to rest on.
