Fleur de Thé

Fleur de Thé by Karl Lagerfeld is a clean white floral with a citrus lift: everyone who describes it says floral, and about half add citrus. Alienor Massenet composed it in 2021, and it is a feminine scent.

Jasmine is the central flower, present both as jasmine sambac, which is fuller, richer and slightly greener, and as a lighter jasmine that keeps the overall feel fresh rather than heady. Camellia adds a softer, almost scentless-flower impression, a delicate, tea-like petal note that gives the fragrance its name and tempers the jasmine's intensity. Citruses on top bring brightness and a slightly bitter sparkle, the kind that makes a floral feel freshly cut rather than hothouse.

The result is a light, bright, uncomplicated jasmine, more about freshness than depth, suited to warm days and to anyone who likes white flowers but prefers them airy and clean rather than creamy or indolic.
