The opening pairs bergamot and citruses with rose and jasmine, so it is bright and floral from the first moment. The heart is where the famous peach appears, a soft, velvety, slightly lactonic fruit set among lilac, ylang-ylang, jasmine and rose, giving a warm, rounded floral that is never sweet. The base is a classic chypre: oakmoss provides an earthy, bitter, forest-floor depth, vetiver a dry, smoky root, cinnamon and spices a gentle warmth, and amber a soft, resinous glow.
The EDT concentration keeps it lighter than the stronger versions. It suits autumn and spring, daytime and evening, and it rewards wearers who appreciate traditional, structured perfumery with moss and spice rather than modern sweetness.
