Gorgeous! from Michael Kors, released in 2021, is a white floral on a woody base; nearly everyone names the flowers first and three quarters the woods. A minority also pick up a spicy, sweet, aromatic or citrus side. It is a feminine scent with a slightly smoky edge that makes it more interesting than the name suggests.
The opening is mandarin orange and pink pepper, bright and faintly peppery. The heart is a rich blend of tuberose, jasmine sambac, orange blossom and ylang-ylang, with a thread of tobacco that gives the flowers a warm, dry, almost leathery shadow. The base is long: benzoin and tonka bean for sweetness, suede and cashmeran for softness, and cedar, styrax and guaiac wood for a dry, smoky finish.
Most wearers report moderate longevity and moderate projection, with a strong minority finding it long lasting. Spring and autumn lead the season votes, and it is chosen more for daytime than night. It works as a dressy floral that is not purely sweet.
