Boss Bottled United Eau de Parfum is a woody fragrance from the German house Hugo Boss, released in 2021. Wood leads, with lighter floral, herbal and citrus touches.
Blood orange opens with a juicy, slightly bitter citrus, and mint adds a cool, refreshing lift. Buchu, a South African herb, brings an unusual blackcurrant-like, minty and green note. In the heart, orris root gives a soft, powdery, slightly earthy elegance. The base is woody and clean: vetiver adds dry, earthy depth, patchouli an earthy warmth, and cashmeran a soft, musky, slightly woody smoothness.
This is a masculine scent with a fresh-woody character, suited to spring and autumn, daytime, the office and casual evenings. It should appeal to someone who wants a modern, clean woody fragrance with a fresh fruit opening and a soft powdery touch, rather than a heavy amber or a simple aquatic.
