Spicy is the description everyone shares, with a minority also finding it sweet, woody, musky and citrus. It is a warmer, richer take on the original Boss Bottled, keeping the apple and chestnut idea.
Apple, bergamot and black pepper open it, so the first stage is crisp and fruity with a sharp peppery bite. The heart is cardamom, chestnut and cinnamon, which gives it a nutty, warm, lightly sweet spice that is the main character of the scent. The base is musk and vetiver, clean and dry, which keeps the finish smooth and office-friendly rather than heavy.
