Portfolio Royale Stallion by Al Haramain Perfumes, released in 2019, is a sweet, spicy fragrance that anyone can wear. Everyone who describes it calls it gourmand, and about half add spicy, musky, floral, aromatic or citrus, which hints at a scent with many sides held together by warm sweetness.
It opens with an unusual trio: cumin, bergamot and heliotrope. Cumin gives a warm, savoury, slightly earthy spice, bergamot a citrus lift, and heliotrope a soft, powdery almond-vanilla note. The heart continues the almond theme with bitter almond, a dry marzipan accent, alongside lavender for a clean aromatic touch and jasmine for floral richness. The base is vanilla, sandalwood and amber: sweet, creamy and warm, the part most people remember.
