Belle Rouge by Al Haramain Perfumes, released in 2020 for women, is a sweet fruity scent with citrus and woods. Sweet and edible is how everyone describes it; most also call it citrusy, more than half woody, and a smaller share floral, musky or herbal.
Grapefruit, lemon, orange and mandarin orange make a bright, zesty opening, with pear, peach and blackcurrant adding juicy, slightly tart fruit. Rose and jasmine give a soft floral centre, and lavender a clean, aromatic touch. The base is sandalwood and cedar for creamy, dry wood, vetiver for earth, and vanilla, tonka bean and musk for a warm, lasting sweetness.
Wearers have not yet reported on longevity or projection. By character it suits spring and summer days and mild evenings, casual wear and everyday use, and someone who likes fruit and citrus that settle into vanilla. It is sold in a mid-sized bottle.
