Le Rêve Nirmala, created by Mathieu Nardin for Molinard in 2017, is a feminine gourmand. Sweetness leads, flowers are noticed by a fair share of people, and smaller groups find wood and citrus.
Mandarin orange and bergamot give a bright citrus opening, with exotic fruits, peach and fruity notes adding a juicy sweetness. The heart is floral and soft: rose, orchid, magnolia and violet bring a creamy, slightly powdery bloom. The gourmand side is generous: almond, candied almond and praline give a nutty, sugared sweetness, and dark chocolate and chocolate a rich cocoa. The base is warm, with vanilla for creaminess, sandalwood for smoothness and patchouli for depth.
As the name, a dream, suggests, it is soft and indulgent. It suits autumn and winter, evenings, dates and cosy occasions, for a woman who enjoys sweet, chocolatey florals.
