The opening is a bright citrus bowl of lemon, bergamot, tangerine and grapefruit, with petitgrain adding a bitter, leafy green note. The heart is where it turns unusual: neroli and orange blossom bring a fresh white-floral glow, while smoke, tea and earthy notes give a dry, almost smoked-tea shading. The base is warm and resinous, with benzoin and myrrh for a balsamic, incense-like depth, oakmoss for a mossy dryness, and vanilla with ambrette for a soft, skin-like finish.
