Eau de Shalimar is a fragrance from the French house Guerlain, released in 2008. Flowers and citrus lead equally, with lighter sweet and amber touches.

Orange, bergamot and lime open with a bright, juicy and slightly bitter citrus. The heart brings jasmine and rose, which give a soft, warm floral note. In the base, iris adds a cool, powdery elegance, resin a balsamic warmth, and vanilla a creamy sweetness that recalls the classic Shalimar style in a lighter, fresher form.

Wearers are split between moderate and long-lasting longevity, and most report moderate sillage. It is voted for spring and summer and mostly for daytime. It suits the office, daytime occasions and warmer days, and someone who likes the vanilla-and-iris character of a classic oriental in a brighter citrus interpretation, rather than a heavy evening scent.
