Kemi from Xerjoff, released in 2023, is a woody fragrance with an animalic depth. Wood leads, a fair share of people note sweetness and amber, and a smaller group leather.

Laotian oud gives a dry, smoky, slightly barnyard wood. Civet and castoreum add a warm, animalic, leathery quality that makes the scent feel close and sensual. Gurjun balsam brings a soft, woody resin. Atlas cedar and cedar give a crisp structure, while sandalwood and Australian sandalwood add a creamy smoothness. Vanilla and Madagascar vanilla round off the base with a gentle, warm sweetness.

Kemi is shared and can be worn by anyone who enjoys animalic woods. It suits autumn and winter, evenings and intimate occasions, and should appeal to people who like traditional oud with a raw, leathery edge softened by vanilla.
